In this fun, wonderful girl’s empowerment and self-esteem exercise, artist and
popular workshop leader, Linda Jacobson leads the girls through a guided journey
to discovering their inner angel or guide. Using their ‘imagical’ senses of sight, sound,
touch, and imagination, the girls will be able to envision this figure with their ‘inner
eye’. Then, using pastel or crayon on paper, the girls will draw what they’ve
visualized as their special guide. Linda then takes them through a brief question
and answer follow up, as to what this inner figure means to them and how it can
help them in life.
No artistic ability is required. The 30 minute session begins with a warm up of playing
with color and shape on paper so that the group feels comfortable with the art
